SITUATION
An international pharmaceutical company was under an FDA Consent Decree for failing to comply with quality standards. The company was paying $250K in fines each quarter until they could submit evidence that their improved quality practices were complying with the FDA standards.
SOLUTION
After a through analysis, we identified more than 60 courses to fulfill quality deficiencies in these areas: Sales, Manufacturing, Training, and Documentation.
A team of 25 consultants teamed up with Subject-Matter Experts from each area. In partnership, they created a new quality-focused curriculum. Pilot courses were designed, developed, implemented, and evaluated across the company over eight months.
OUTCOME
After submitting evidence of the training, the pharmaceutical company was able to comply with FDA regulations and remove the consent decree one year ahead of their original schedule based on the team approach.
SITUATION
A large children’s hospital was implementing medical data software that required training the entire staff in new processes, procedures, and software.
End users had to be fully trained by the software launch date with access to online resources for specific tasks based on roles.
SOLUTION
A team of two consultants worked with Subject-Matter-Experts (SMEs) to create role-based eLearning. The courses included Tell Me, Show Me, Let Me Try features for all roles in the hospital.
Within nine months, the team completed 28 modules and added an Instructor-Led Training (ILT) session to ensure content and delivery was consistent throughout all roles.
OUTCOME
Following the rollout, evaluations indicated the training was a great success and use of the software was at the expected compliance level.
SITUATION
A national publishing company originally requested our assistance to design and develop eLearning using Articulate Storyline.
During analysis, the project scope grew to include technical documentation and new online testing software.
SOLUTION
Our team designed eLearning as microlearning for small content segments using Storyline. We used RoboHelp to move the technical documentation online and included chatbots for quick responses.
OUTCOME
Upon project completion, we received formal and informal feedback that acknowledged that the additional solutions we designed and developed were well-received and impactful.
